Hi,

Tinnitus, the sensation of buzzing or ringing in the ears, can have various causes, including sinus issues, jaw problems, or other underlying conditions. It's important to consult with a healthcare professional, preferably an ENT specialist, for an accurate diagnosis and appropriate treatment options.

Here are a few general suggestions that you may consider discussing with your healthcare professional:
* Management of sinus symptoms: If you have mild sinus issues, it's important to address and manage them effectively. This may include saline nasal irrigation, steam inhalation, or the use of nasal decongestants or corticosteroid nasal sprays. Your healthcare professional can guide you on the best approach for your specific situation.
* Jaw and muscle relaxation techniques: Since you mentioned that your tinnitus worsens with jaw clenching and head movements, it may be helpful to explore techniques to relax the jaw muscles. This can include jaw exercises, physical therapy, or stress reduction techniques. Your healthcare professional or a physical therapist may be able to guide exercises or relaxation techniques that can help.
* Medications and supplements: Tinnex, the capsule you mentioned taking, maybe a product marketed for tinnitus relief. It's important to discuss this with your healthcare professional to determine its effectiveness and safety for your specific case. They may also consider other medications or supplements that could potentially help manage your symptoms.
* Hearing evaluation: In some cases, a hearing evaluation or an audiogram may be recommended to assess your hearing and the impact of tinnitus on your auditory system. This can help guide treatment decisions and provide further insights into your condition.

Remember, it's important to work closely with a healthcare professional who can evaluate your specific situation, provide an accurate diagnosis, and develop an appropriate treatment plan. They may recommend further tests or refer you to specialists if necessary.

Hello,

Sinusitis can cause tinnitus or worsen it while being associated with hearing loss and exposure to extremely loud noises. Sinusitis most frequently occurs when a virus or bacteria irritates the tissues of your sinus cavities, irritation leads to swelling which, in turn, can lead to mucus buildup and congestion and hence buzzing sound in the ear.

Increased blood flow may worsen the tinnitus. You are suggested to get clinically examined by an ENT for your sinus problem, get treated at the earliest. Your sinus cavities and ears are interconnected, so congestion in the sinuses can create ear congestion, as well. Congestion commonly blocks the eustachian tube that connects the middle ear to the outer ear and helps regulate pressure within the ear.

When the eustachian tube is blocked, the pressure is allowed to build up around the eardrum causing ringing in the ears, called tinnitus. You can continue taking the medicines you have been taking. Maintain your blood pressure normal, if diabetes you should maintain your blood sugar level at normal so that your symptoms are not triggered. Your treating ENT can suggest you minimal-invasive procedure called balloon sinuplasty if sinus obstruction is detected.

You will be much relieved as the procedure will expand your sinuses, restoring drainage to areas that were previously blocked or too small for mucus to flow properly. For tinnitus you will have to get audiometry and other tests done to detect partial or complete deafness or tinnitus due to congestion. You will be accordingly treated.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
