Suggest Treatment For Increasing Pain, With Abnormal Haemoglobin Count

I m having gradual pain periodically but more and more frequent over the past few weeks. 2 years ago I had emergency gallbladder removal surgery due to gallstones. I have went to the Dr for these symptoms checked out. They did bloodwork and a urine test and everything seems to be normal with the exception of my hemoglobin levels. Any idea on what this could be?

Hello,

I can understand your concern. It is difficult to answer your concern as the specific area of pain and specific values of tests are not given. Little more information would have been helpful to understand the situation with your health.

If you are having increasing abdominal pain, hemoglobin level has less to do with it. You may have heartburn or muscular pain. Alternatively, you can go for more detailed tests like Sonogram to have diagnosis of organ related problems in abdomen.

I hope this helps. Thank you for choosing HCM. Let me know if I can be of any further help.

Best,
Dr. Viraj Shah
