Suggest Treatment For Indentations On The Upper Thigh

I had liposuction 10 years ago on thighs etc. Two years ago I fell on my bike and got a very large hematoma in my upper thigh. The surgeon would not drain, said it would dissipate and give it a year. It never shrunk, but developed indentations. My Dermotologist said it is now a lipoma and she surgically removed only a part of it cause it was so painful. Now my thigh looks even worse with deeper indentations. She suggested a procedure to reduce fat cells after several times costing over 2,000.00! Is there anything I can do?

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hi,

It could be a congenital defect of the muscle bulk.
Consult an orthopedic and get evaluated.
You can opt for an MRI scan to make a diagnosis.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Shinas Hussain, General & Family Physician
