Suggest Treatment For Infected Finger In A Child

My son is 6 and his finger is very red and hot. You can see the puss pocket from the tip all the way to the cutial. I ve soaked it and put meds in it. He says it hurts really bad. I tried to pop it and he just screamed. Do I take him to the ER. Because its a Sunday.
