Suggest Treatment For Infected Tattoo

I have an infected tattoo, which is abnormal as mine always heal fine. I have been to the doctors and was prescribed antibiotics. They said not to put anything on the wound, is this correct? Is there not any kind of cream I could put on to make the large scabs heal faster? There is pus seeping which has been like that for 2 days, when will the pus stop?

hi.
Thanks for writing to us.
As your tattoo is infected,
Take an oral antibiotic like amoxicillin clavulinic acid
Clan the area with betadine daily
Apply topical antibiotic cream like mupirocin twice in a day.

Hope this would help you out.
