Suggest Treatment For Infected Wound On The Leg

Hi, I have a mole on my leg. It has been there for forever. I was shaving weeks ago and it cut open. It has still not healed. Now there was a blood pocket on the top and when punctured it produced blood and puss. Could this be cancer or more likely infection?

Hello,

A mole that does not heal needs a careful examination from the doctor. If the mole did not have any changes prior to the trauma (shaving) very likely it is not a cancer but to be on the safe side please make sure you do see your doctor.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
