Suggest Treatment For Infection In The Knee

Hi,my husband saw our g.p yest (friday) & was told he has an infection in his knee/leg, he has been put on to flucloxacillian 500mg he s had a total of 7 tablets, the g.p said if it got worse then go to the hospital, to me the pinkness on his leg is getting larger how long should i wait before taking him to the hospital, he says he feels washed out as i d expect from an infection, he vomited this morning, i gave him a cyclizine he s not been sick again,

I really appreciate your concern, if this is infection then chances of puss formation need to be ruled out and this is already formed the puss then this need to be drained, and better to go and see the surgeon, hope this information helps, take care.
