Suggest Treatment For Infection On Finger Tip
What are my options for the pinky finger top joint bone infection? I did a MRI and this was the result. I had a but cut and it didn t heal right. I tried keeping it cleaned. I was hospitalized with heavy doses of IV antibiotics. This cleaned up the tissue but it went into the bone. There is redness and slight swelling and I can t bend the finger at the top joint. What should I do? Lose the top of finger? Surgery?

I really appreciate your concern, what the history you gave here I could say that great care need to be taken for infection and wound underlying cause of the deep seated infection need to be known, such case need clinical examination it is advisable to discuss this with surgeon, because without this nothing can be said, hope this information helps.
