Suggest Treatment For Infertility Having Bilateral Hydrosalphinges

Hello all,

I have bilateral hydrosalphinges and hence difficulty concieving naturally. I had 2 lots of positive IVF cycles. The first one ended circa 6 weeks. The second, in 2004, ended with a raptured left ectopic. It is this that I wish to discuss.

As I had had several major abdominal surgeries and infection (abdominal TB resulting in peritonitis in 1998-1999) my fertility team were reluctant to operate on the raptured ectopic. I was admitted and kept under 'expectant management'. Lost blood was replaced but no Methotrexate or related drug used. After one month my HCG levels dropped to acceptable levels and I was discharged home. My Questions; what became of the raptured tube? Is there a possibility that it is now open at the point of rapture? I had alot of bleeding in the area. Could this have caused further adhesions, hence blocking the tube again? I worry that I will end up with another ectopic pregnancy if a window wxists there, as the lining of the tube must have been destroyed by the hydrosalpinx.

Many thanks for the service you offer on here.
