Suggest Treatment For Inflamed And Painful Lump

Hi there, I am a 31 year old female, mother of two and have a dime size lump on what seems to be a tension on my neck, directly in front of my trapezoid. The lump is always there but occasionally becomes inflamed and is very tender and painful for a couple days. Any advice would be appreciated. Thank you, Kari

Hi,
From history it seems that you might be having non specific enlarged lymph node in the neck.
It shows that there might be having minor infection on scalp.
If infection in surrounding area is present there might be pain and tenderness in lymph node.
Rule out any chronic infection on scalp like dandruff, fungal infection on scalp.
Wash hair with good shampoo or conditioner.
Ok and take care.
