Suggest Treatment For Inflamed And Swollen Taste Bud

Hello, my name is Tay and I have a concern with my tongue. I just noticed while looking at my tooth that s been bothering me, that my tongue is white and my taste buds are bigger that usual. The back of my tongue has very big taste buds and the front of it has smaller but very noticeable ones. I brushed my teeth and my tongue to see if it would make a difference, the taste buds still look the same but only the back of my tongue is white. I m pregnant, I don t know if that would make a difference or not but I just don t know why it looks so weird. I wish I could take a picture and post it so you could see. Please reply if you know why this happened, I m worried.

Read your query as you are pregnant this change in color of your tongue can be due to pregnancy or due to Geographic tongue , or depapillation of papillae .
For this you should consult oral surgeon for examination of tongue and you can take drug of vitamin B 12 by consulting with your local doctor and during pregnancy it is important to maintain good oral hygiene .
