Suggest Treatment For Inflamed Tonsils

HI, I am struggling to swallow as my left tonsil is inflamed with a white ulcer. I also have 2 more ulcers on my gums. The ulcers have been there for a few days and the tonsil has arrived today. I have had a fever, I ve been eating very healthily so i don t know why all this all of a sudden. Should I be worried? Im also a smoker and I m 22. thanks, Louis

Yes , this is a cause of concern and there can be many reasons for your ulcers including viral/bacterial infections , aphthous ulcers or even herpes. Please meet your ENT doctor for examination and further guidance. Please dont worry , you will be fine.
