Suggest Treatment For Inflamed Wisdom Tooth And Swollen Gums

About a week ago, my left wisdom tooth was inflamed and my gums were swollen. During the week, I noticed the lymph node on the left side of my neck was a bit swollen. Today, the swelling is gone and my jaw no longer hurts. Although about two days ago, I noticed the skin around my left hip bone was tender, like I had been hit or had pulled a muscle. And today, I noticed my left inguinal lymph node was swollen and tender, and I also have a couple small patches of red bumps on my upper left thigh. The bumps don t itch but the area around the lymph node is tender. And on top of it all, related or not, I have had some chest congestion, cold like symptoms the past week.

Hi..
Welcome to HEALTHCARE MAGIC..

So sorry to hear about your problem and will try my level best to resolve it..

As per your complain it seems that swollen gum flap over the wisdom tooth with severe pain and swelling seems to be due to Pericoronitis and it can lead to swollen lymph node under the jaw and chin and can be commonly seen due to dental infection..
As you also have inguinal lymph node enlargement it is not commonly seen due to dental infection and is not seems to be related..
I would suggest you to consult a General Physician and get evaluated and a thorough clinical evaluation and investigation like lymph node biopsy can help in diagnosis and treatment can be done accordingly.
In case if it is due to infection then a course of antibiotics, anti inflammatory painkillers and alternate warm and cool compresses can relieve..

Any further questions are welcome..

Regards..
