Suggest Treatment For Inflames Pancreas

Hello, My dad has just been hospitalized and diagnosed with an inflamed pancreas...it is apparent based on my research that he has had these symptoms for some time. What is the procedure to help this inflammation? Also, he saw a physician about this over two years ago when his belly button started to enlarge outward on his stomach. The physician told him to push it back in is this correct procedure or should we request the medical records for such a thing. Thank you.

I really appreciate your concern, from the history given here I would like to say that to know the exact reason of the clinical complain one must go through the numbers of test, if you are suspecting that your father is having some kind of pancreas disease then here the diagnosis is must and you can not ask to just treat the inflammation because the pathophysiological even is matter here, have a nice day.
