Suggest Treatment For Inflammation Around Skin Cut On Finger
hi i cut my middle and ringer finger at noon yesterday moving and it took a couple of hours to stop bleeding. but i put a bandaid on hit because I didn t think it was that bad but I guess I was wrong because my fingers are still inflamed more of my middle finger than anything and I can see that it s pretty much closing up to bother to get stitches what to do now ?
If you cut your fingers deeply and they are now inflamed, it is possible that you may have an infection. It is best to seek medical attention from a healthcare professional who can evaluate the cut, clean it properly, and provide any necessary treatment, such as antibiotics or stitches.
In the meantime, you can try soaking your fingers in warm water with Epsom salt to help reduce inflammation and promote healing. Keep the area clean and dry, and avoid applying any creams or ointments until you have seen a healthcare provider.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Albana Sejdini, General & Family Physician
