General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

It is most likely due to ingrown hair (infection of the hair follicle).
No treatment is required only symptomatic treatment is given.
It will resolve by its own.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Ivan R. Rommstein, General Surgeon
