Suggest Treatment For Injury In The Groin Area

I recently took a hard fall and injured my groin area. I was checked at a local hospital and there are no breaks or fractures, but the pain is intense. I am on warfarin so aspirin products are out. I have a few tramadol from a hand surgery in April. My question is: would it be better to take two tramadol or two acetaminophen PMs to kill or reduce the pain? Thanks for your help. Mary

Hello,

As per your history, Instead of that you can take ta. acetaminophen every 4 hourly.

Avoid direct pressure. Do regular physical therapy.

Apply diclofenac gel or ointment locally with heating pads.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Shyam B. Kale, General & Family Physician
