Suggest Treatment For Injury On Nose Bridge

Tripped and hit my face on door frame with some force,. Have a fairly deep cut below the bridge of my nose. Skin was taken off and although it has stopped bleeding, I don t know weather to put Vaseline on and cover or leave open to heal, even though it may form an ugly scab. Thinking of best way to heal without too much scarring. Thank You so much for your answer. Elizabeth Morgan

Thanks for your query, I have gone through your query.
The injury on the nasal bridge can be treated with sutures if the cut is deep to enhance faster healing and prevent future scar formation. Consult a oral paxillofacial surgeon and get the wound treated. You may have to take a radiograph like lateral cephalogram to rule out any bone fracture.
I hope my answer will help you, take care.
