Suggest Treatment For Injury To Ear

So I was playing basketball with my friend. One made a shot but it hit the rim and hit my ear and lower but I did caught the ball with my hand, but I turn my head right during that whole process.Where the ball hit it is red. I have no other symptom but a red mark and slight pain that's gone away. My neck is a little stiff but I can move it. My pupils are okay.

Brief Answer:
Things seem to be improving by themselves. No treatment suggested as yet.

Detailed Answer:
Hello

Wellcome to Health Care Magic.
My name is Dr Muhammad Ahmad & i will look into your problem.

I have gone through your query and would try to help you in the best possible way.
It pleases me that you are so well aware and concerned about issues related to your health.
After reading all what happened and how things have proceded since then.
in my opninon:
(1) DAMAGE:
Luckily no vital part like skull, nose, eye or ear drum seems to be damaged as there is no vision ,hearing or nose bleed issues.

(2)PAIN:
Has settled by time,it's indeed a good sign, it seems, things are settling down.

(3) Red Discolouration of the area:
This seems to be the only problem which seems to persist so let me tell you a bit about it, when our body gets hit by something, blood vessels under skin get damaged and blood leaks out of them so the place gets red and a bruise appears,it keeps changing it's colour and with time our body repairs it self in a week or so and leaves no signs of damage. In my opinion you don't have to worry about the redness.

THINGS YOU SHOULD DO:
(1) Protect the area from further hit .
(2) Keep a close look at the area and soon you will see it improving.
(3)If you feel pain you can use overr the counter pain killer like Acetamenophen but in my opninon you wont need it .
(4) Protect yourself well during aggressive sports.

Hope I have answered your query. If you have any further questions I will be happy to help if not then don't forget to close the discussion and rate it.
Wishing you good health !!
