Suggest Treatment For Injury Under Eyebrow

I got dizzy and fell in the shower after I got cosmetic dermatology. I fell face first down into the ledge that runs around the shower. Got a two inch gash under my eyebrow above my eye. The wound has a butterfly on it and so it s had to see the swelling progress, but it happened 2 days ago, and the other eye is starting to swell. Is this normal? And how long can I expect to look abnormal? Is it normal to have both eyes be effected by this? Is there anything I should worry about? I don t have insurance so never went to the dr.

Hello,

I can understand your concern for the treatment for injury under eyebrow. You have not mentioned your age and gender in your query.

It is quite common to have accumulation of blood around the eyes after nay injury over the forehead or nearby parts. If it is quite trivial then there is no problem related to that but sometimes in old age beyond 50 years one can have internal bleeding.

You just make sure that the swelling is not increasing in next 24 hours. Also kindly check your blood pressure if possible and be alert by the warning signs such as any headache or dizziness or any unusual thing you perceive. You can take further guidance from your family physician.
