Suggest Treatment For Insect Bite For My 6-year-old Grandson
I think my 6 year old grandson was bitten by a insect or spider on the chest. The area is approximately 6 centimeters in diameter with irregular borders. It is slightly swollen with red pinpoint areas in the area that is also slightly red. He has had this for about 2 days - it looks a little less red today but has not gone away yet. Never mind - we ll just go to or call his md tomorrow

Hello,
The symptoms seem to be related to an insect bite. I suggest using an antihistamine such as Cetirizine to relieve the itching.
I also suggest using Hydrocortisone cream for local application. If she has breathing difficulties, I suggest to go at the emergency room.
