Suggest Treatment For Insomnia

Hello doctor,I have sleeping disorder last 5 years then I consult doctor ,he nexito plus for three month but I have taken this tablet 3 years without consulting next time because this tablet feel me sleepy so I was addicted to this tablet ,now I'm not taking ,but not getting sleep in the night ,getting headache problem food digestion problems what to do now suggest me please.

Hello thanks for asking from HCM

You have sleeping disorder since last 5 years and are advised to take Nexito Plus (Escitalopram+Clonazepam). You are taking the drug since last 3 years and never visited your psychiatrist again. Now you have discontinued and developed withdrawal syndrome and have insomnia and headache. These symptoms are probably occurring due to withdrawal of clonazepam. I would advise you to consult a psychiatrist for help. The problem of sleep can improve with medicines like Zolpidem. This will also help to reduce the the symptoms of clonazepam withdrawal. Consult a psychiatrist for prescription of this drug and for evaluation of symptoms of depression if any.
