Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Hi Doctor, I m having very intense stomach pains in what I believe to be my lower belly. The day before yesterday I ate many handfulls of a nut/raisin mix; then yesterday I ate some date balls, a turkey sandwish with cranberries, basil pasta with onions and turkey goji berries, and ended the meal with a large chunk of chocholate and a glass of orange-mango juice. My suspicion is too many hard-to-digest nuts bad food combining and not enough veggies. I ve had very small bowel movement. The pain is pretty bad. What should I do to alleviate the pain/ resolve the problem?

General & Family Physician, Dr. Nishad BN's Response
Hi,
Your problem can be due to gastritis. Taking antacids and applying hot water bags on abdomen will be helpful. If that is not helping then you can take proton pump inhibitors like Esomeprazole ( Nexium ). If this is also not helping then you may need injection of proton pump inhibitors and ultrasound examination to rule out other problems.
Hope this may help you. Let me know if anything not clear.
Thanks, Dr. Nishad BN
