Suggest Treatment For Intermittent Chronic Episodes Of Double Vision

I have had 3 to 4 day episodes of double vision over the past two to three years. I usually stay free of this problem for somewhere between 6 to 7 months before having to deal with it again. When this problem happens, I can always cover one eye in order to see clearly again. (it doesn t matter which eye I cover ) Can you help?
