Suggest Treatment For Intermittent Claudication

I ve been diagnosed with intermittent claudication but I ve been looking at the symptoms of spinal stenosis and I m wondering whether that is more my problem. Lately, I ve noticed more pain in walking or standing. And my legs get extremely tired. Is it possible I have both?

HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

It is possible to have both conditions.

You would need imaging of the spine to determine if spinal stenosis is present.

An MRI may be the best option because it can show the vertebra (bones), ligaments and nerves whereas an x ray would mainly give information on the vertebra.
You would need to know if there is any compression or pressure on surrounding nerves.

I hope this helps
