General & Family Physician, Dr. Nishad BN's Response
Hi Thank you for asking HCM. I have gone through your query. Creams containing hydrocortisone and anesthetic like cinchocaine will be helpful for local application for hemorrhoids of 1st and 2nd degree. Stool softeners like softovac and sits bath is usually helpful also. In case of infection bleeding and pain can be more also. For such case i would suggest antibiotics like ciprofloxacin and metronidazole for short duration. If there is no improvement then surgical management of hemorrhoids should be considered. Hope this may help you. Let me know if anything not clear. Thanks.
