Suggest Treatment For Interstitial Cystitis And Overactive Bladder

Good evening I have been on myrbetric, 25 mg and Phosphasal 81.6 mg for approximately 6 weeks for interstitial cystitis and overactive bladder. I also have been having bladder installations once a week, which consist of sodium bicarbonate, kenalog, heparin, and lidocaine. Could the combination of all of these medications cause an increase in glucose serum, a value of 164 and elevated AST (75) and ALT (104)?

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

Consult a urologist and get evaluated. You have to go for a urine culture and start antibiotics accordingly. Nothing much to worry and the condition will improve with proper antibiotics.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Shinas Hussain, General & Family Physician
