Suggest Treatment For Irregular Heart Rate

Yes, Recently dx with sinus arrhythmia. My rhythm is irregular. My cardiologist states this is a normal variant nevertheless I dont feel normal. I recently had an angio done that was okay however my symptoms continues. Dont know what to do my Cardiologist is not concerned but I am.

Hello and welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

Sinus arrhythmia may not be serious and it can be a normal variant also. You can consult your cardiologist and go for a serial EKG monitoring and check whether the rhythm is abnormal or if there is conditions like fibrillations LR heart block and in that case you might require proper treatment. In most cases of simple arrhythmia can be managed with out drugs and only frequent follow ups.
