Suggest Treatment For Irregular Heartbeats

When I exert my heart beats extremely fast and I can hear it heavily in my ears and when it finally slows down it beats extremely slow and pounds very hard. I am a 44 year old woman. I was wondering if it is just from being out of shape which I am or if it could be something else.

Hi,
It seems that you might be having anxiety neurosis common at this age due to peri-menopausal age.
Due to hormonal imbalance at this stage does give rise this feeling.
But it is advisable to go for EKG to know type and rhythm of your heart rate.
This will also reveal any abnormality in conduction or any problem in your heart.
After report your doctor go for treatment accordingly.
Ok and take care.
