Suggest Treatment For Irregular Menstrual Cycle

Hi, I have irregular monthly cycle and have been recommended by my doctor to take duphaston once a day for days but i missed 7 days of not taking it( this would be my 3rd month taking). What am i supposed to do should i stop taking it and just wait for my period to come then start taking it for the next month?

Hi,
I understand your problem.
Duphaston is a hormonal preparation given for you to regulate your menstrual cycle. It needs to be taken strictly at same time of day without a break. .. it's good you had asked the query.. as irregular consumption creates hormonal imbalance & further confusion in cycle.
You should stop , wait for your cycle.. & meet your doctor on 4th or 5th day of menses for further management.
Thanks.
