Hi,

Birth control pills are a good choice for irregular periods of no cause. You may use it.

However if you want to conceive you just need to stop the drugs and as you will conceive then there will be no periods, so then you won't need any medicine.

So if you want to conceive then no need to take any medicine. Yes if you failed to conceive despite regular intercourse, then you may take medicine which may help you conceive. There are a number of drugs your gynecologist can prescribe.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care
