Suggest Treatment For Irregular Period And Weight Gain

Hi... Im suffering from irregular period from almost 2 yrs.. My age s 21 yrs I ll get my periods 2months once but dis time it has been 3 months I did t get my period..my weight was 50kg bt from few months im weight also increase for 55kg..can pls tel me wat s happening?? Im unmarried gal n I never had sex too.. Can u give me gud answer

Hi dear and thanks for your query.

Sometimes weight gain can cause irregular periods like your issue .
Hence you should low your weight to make periods regular.

But this is not enough in some cases because weight gain and irregular menstruation might appear as symptoms of polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS).
Hence you should do a TVS and hormonal balance to rule out PCOS .
