Suggest Treatment For Irregular Period

hi i am 28 years old girl and i am having problem like irregular periods like i get 6 times in a year every two months like that. i had one abortion at the age of 22 years but i am scared about that is it normal or do i need any check up for this irrgular periods ? some time think it may create problem in my pregnancy if i want.........
