Irregular menstruation can be a result of hormonal imbalance or some underlying disorder which needs to be treated. As you are already taking yasmin for it as per your doctor’s advice, do not change the medicines without consulting your gynaecologist as these are prescribed to you depending on your medical history and symptoms considering all the adverse effects.
Sudden change in the medicine without consulting your doctor is not advisable. You should visit your doctor and explain your concern over the issue, if needed she will suggest you some alternate option.
hope this helps. Feel free to contact for any further queries in the future.
