Suggest Treatment For Irregular Periods In A Patient With Rheumatic Heart Disease

38 years old female, known case of Rheumatic Heart Disease-post Mitral Valve Replacement (mechanical), is on Tablet Acitrom 3 mg. INR (July 2015) was 3.05. She complaints of excessive bleeding per vagina- irregular, since last 1.5 months. What is the line of treatment?

Hello,

If she is having anticoagulants because of the heart issue then it can cause frequent and intense bleeding from vagina. You may need to lower the dosage of anticoagulants.
