General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

You may be having a condition called PCOS( polycystic ovarian syndrome) and that may be the reason for irregular periods.

Contraceptive pills and drugs like metformin will be the treatment of choice.

Continue novelon to regularise the periods. Nothing much to worry and your treatment is in the right track.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Shinas Hussain, General & Family Physician
