Suggest Treatment For Irregular Periods

i have been facing irregular periods since my first perids (at the age of 12) now i am 21. tried all kinds of medication but in vain. i bleed continuosly for the enitre month and if i don take tablets the bleeding preceeds for the next month. please help.

Hello,

It is important that you have some tests to check for the reason for the bleeding. You may need to have a transvaginal ultrasound to rule out any structural problems such as fibroids, polyps, etc.

A pap smear is indicated if you have not had one. Also, a hormonal check is important such as TSH, estrogen, prolactin, testosterone, progesterone, etc.
