Suggest Treatment For Irregular Periods

I have irregular periods and was advised to regestrone twice a day to stop bleeding for 5 days . After the bleeding stopped I was advised to take 20 regestrone tablets once a day so that my next periods gets regularised. However I got my periods after 10 days of tablets itself . Is it okay or do I have to go to doctor ??

Hi,

You finished the tablets and got your period, which is the normal process. Doesn't need to go to the doctor for that. You may go if the bleeding doesn't stop.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Olgeta Xhufka,
