General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

Thyroid problem also leads to period irregularities. I Would suggest to concentrate on your thyroid treatment with expert advise of an endocrinologist. With control of thyroid hormone levels to normal. The periods would mostly turn to normal provided thyroid is the only cause. If not get investigated for associated ovarian or pituitary problem OR ovulation problem like PCOD.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
