Suggest Treatment For Irregular Skipped Heartbeats And High BP

I have begun experiencing irregular skipped beats. I am 69 years old and have been taking a calcium channel blocker (generic) for high blood pressure for four years. I am scheduled for a presurgery Holter monitor. Need I be concerned? Did not take my bp medicine today because I fear it is causing my problem.

I really appreciate your concern, if this is the rhythm problem of heart then it need to be tested and the best option would be ECHO and EKG, condition could be physiological one, and may be pathological one, but care need to be taken for this, hope this information helps, take care and have a nice day.
