i have been having irritation in my right eye, particularly the inside part of my eyelid. It feels as though something is stuck there (hair, dirt, contact) but there is nothing to be found. Where do you recommend I do? It s extremely hurting my eye,
Hi, Thanks for posting in HCM. I understand your concern. What irritation of the eye you are experiencing could be due to allergy as no foreign body has been found to be associated with it. Kindly do the following to overcome it. 1. Wash the eyes with cold water several times a day. 2. Do nor rub the eyes as it may aggravate the symptoms. 3. Apply anti-allergic eye drops containing Ketotifen twice a day. 4. Apply artificial tears eye drops at bedtime. 5. Avoid exposure to dust and direct sunlight by wearing appropriate goggles (shades). Gradually, your symptoms should subside and be back to normal. Hope the information provided would be helpful. All the best.
