Suggest Treatment For Itching All Over My Body

i am very itchy all over my body, and whenever i put pressure on my skin. i think i have this since i was a child but the itch got worsen for some months. my father have a lymphoma. is it possible its associated with it? im 35 year old female from Philippines. thank you.

I have gone through your query and can understand your concerns..

As per your complain severe itching all over the body that is occurring since childhood seems to be due to Allergic reaction to some unknown allergen and can be due to a number of things like certain foods and vegetables, skin cosmetics, detergents, leather, latex etc..

As far as Lymphoma is concerned, it is a malignancy of the lymph nodes and has other symptoms like chronic swelling and enlargement of lymph nodes..
As in your case it seems to be most probably Allergic reaction..


I would suggest you to consult an Allergist and get evaluated and a thorough clinical evaluation and investigations like allergic tests like Patch test, RAST test, food challenge test etc can help in diagnosis and treatment can be done accordingly..

The tests will help in ruling out the exact cause of the symptoms and once you know the cause of the allergic reaction you can avid exposure to it to prevent allergy attack..

As of now you can take anti allergics like Levocetrizine, Allegra etc along with to relieve the symptoms..
Apply Calamine lotion over the itchy areas..
