Suggest Treatment For Itching And Burning Of Hands And Feet

burning in hands and feet, itches, if I scratch for a peroid of time the will swell on me the nest day. very sentive to touch and something cool fel better on them. i have had back and neck surgery. can you tell me something i can do to help myself., thanks

Hi.
As per your case history of itching - burning on hands-feet, my treatment advice is -
1. Don't scratch the skin as it may worsen the condition.
2. Apply a mild topical steroid cream like mometasone cream on the lesions twice daily.
3. Take a vitamin b12 supplement once daily for 3 months.
4. Take an antihistamine medication like levocetrizine twice daily for itching.
5. Other treatment options are oral antibiotics, oral steroid taken only after consulting a dermatologist.
