Hi,

Newborn conjunctivitis are treated with Chloramphenicol eye drops and ointment. The recommended dosage regimen for babies is one drop in the affected eye(s) four times daily for five day. Rinsing the newborn's infected eye with a saline solution will remove any debris that may develop in response to the infection.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
