Suggest Treatment For Itching In Vaginal Area

I have rheumatoid arthritis. I went to see a dermatologist because

of itching on the outside of my vagina. She prescribed some

cream and it helped. It gets very itchy and at times, because

of the scratching, there is bleeding. Is there an over the counter

ointment I can use?
