Suggest Treatment For Itching On The Nipples And Profuse Sweating

Hello, I am 37 earls old man. Recently I was playing badminton and sweating profusly when I felt itching on my both nipples. I saw my nipples were hard. After that I took shower and then everything was ok and even my nipples became soft. Next day when I took shower with hot water and soap I fet the same itching again. After shower I applied talcom powder on my nipples and it was fine. Now I see few black spots right at the tip of my both nipples. Even though I have no pain or do not feel any hard mass at all, I am worried about it.

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

The symptoms are consistent with eczema. As a first line management, you can apply low potency steroid creams like betamethasone for symptomatic relief.

If the lesion persists, it is better to consult a dermatologist and get evaluated.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Shinas Hussain, General & Family Physician
