Suggest Treatment For Itching With Red Bumps On Arms And Thighs

My husband suddenly having an itchy on arms and thighs developed with red bumps. I gave him clariton allergy and it has reduced fully but again after 12 hours it started. Just now i gave him benedryl allergy b cas i can use clariton only after 24 hours.

Hi,,,welcome to HCM
Your husband is having skin condition called 'Urticaria' commonly referred to as hives, appears as raised recurrent, well-circumscribed areas of erythema and edema,,lasting for hours,, with or without itching...
According to the newer guidelines for urticaria- H1-blocking agents are the first line drugs..i.e.One should start with the usual dose of them...if the symptoms are uncontrolled, the dose can be increased up to four-fold.
Use Allegra-180 i.e. fexofenadine twice a day and you may increase the dose to 4 times if required...
If using claritin, do not use more than 10mg/day
