Suggest Treatment For Itchy And Red Area On Outer Labia

For a while, maybe 4 weeks, I have had an itchy area on my right outer labia between the top crease of my thigh but NOT into the moister area of the inner labia. Now the itching has become burning and red raw area of sensitive skin. I have not had sex in years. Could this still be an STD or a fungus, though it doesn't feel like a typical yeast infection.
