Hi,I am Raju.A.T (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I have several bumps on my mons pubis and they itch off and on. At first it was only a few and then I just so happen to look again and see that there are more. Some are small and some are big, when I scratch, they some times bleed. I don t know what to do about it. It s bothersome. What should I do exactly? I wear cotton underwear, I don t wear tight fitted clothes, I m not sexually active with a man, I wash daily but I am having irregular periods and I am on this new birth control and from it I have a discharge which makes me wear a pad all day. It s not a lot but it s enough. What should I do?
The symptoms seem to be related to ingrown hairs or razor burn from shaving. Use aloe vera or a steroid cream to soothe irritated skin. Don't pick ingrown hairs. You can also use an antihistamine medication such as Cetirizine 10 mg to relieve the itching.
Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
