Suggest Treatment For Itchy, Burning Bumps On Body Leaving Flat Black Marks
Evening Small molluscum looking bumps or pimples very itchy started around neck and continued development. .then suddenly appeared between thighs AND elbow area continued to severely itch and spread around arms until I used bleach and lamisil spray this calmed the itching also sting and burn feeling but smoothed out the bumps which instead of clear are now flat black spots and/or scabs :-( :-( very unhappy now wearing long sleeves in Texas summer heat! Originally looked like chill bumps same color as normal skin but itch like mad.. now I just want to know what is the likely problem and how shouldn t I treat or do I need prescription meds?
I want to see the bumps you are having in order to give you a better opinion. I think it can be chicken pox or shingles. Using calamine lotion can be helpful. No other drugs should be used without clarifying diagnosis.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Olgeta Xhufka, General & Family Physician
